Oh how time flys...

Our potty seat adventure!!
A few pics of Alysa!!

Life has been on the fast forward button these days. Jaydn is ending his kinder Garden year in June. Starting August he will be starting 1st grade. He will be starting a Chinese immersion class that he got accepted into. His elementary is beginning it this year. He will be learning everything in english half the day and then Mandrian chinese the other half. It will end his 6th grade year or if he decides he does not like it. This will be a great experience for him. Hopefully all goes well then all three of them could be in this type of program. So I quess Derick and I better start practicing our chinese...
Brenon is turning 4 on the 18th this month but we had his birthday early with lots of cousins and a couple friends, it was crazy but fun. Brenon loves Dinosaurs but lately he has been all about How to train the dragons figurines(thanks to cousin parker:) So that was the theme for the party was how to train a dragon. Brenon has become quite a busy body being mischievious. The lastest example was when he came down with a duck toilet seat around his neck. He thought since it came off the first time why not do it again. Well luckly we had to wait a few minutes until derick got home and with a lot of pulling and red ears derick was able to get it off. I hope he grows out of this stage but I don't think any time soon!
Alysa is growing so fast. She is my petite little one but what did ya expect:) She is finally smiling tons and loves to talk and her giggle is the best. The nights are actually getting better, we have more good nights than bad. At least for now she has been the easiest at night. No colic yet I am hoping to skip that stage so I am keeping my fingers crossed. All I can say is girl shopping is the best..Brenon always makes her smile and it seems that the two of them share a special bond. Jaydn talks to her and kisses her but goes on with his big boy stuff.
The last few months we have enjoyed a easy schedule for derick's intern year. I have been very spoiled with all his help. We have one month left of the intern year which will be crazy again, so I am not looking forward to that. The bright side is derick should have a better schedule starting July. I quess we shall see. A few days ago Derick and Matt put soil and sod down for our side yard. It was a lot of hard work but with matt's expertise it looks really good. Derick and Matt did all of this in just a 1 1/2 days. Poor Matt we always can find work for him when he visits:) Thank you Matt and of course Sarah since she was so supportive having matt help out.
We can't wait to see you all next month.
